Sunday brunch!!!
THURSDAY
There is a very small restaurant lot. There is plenty of street parking.
Place not kid friendly. Older crowd everytime I went.
Loved everything about this place. Went for $1 oyster night on Thursday evening. Was wonderful. Atmosphere wonderful. Drinks reasonably priced. definitely reccomend this place. Will be returning soon.
This place gets a solid 4 star rating for convenience and quality. Nice neighborhood restaurant and bar. Only negative of note is that it is a bit pricey but then so is everything in Boston.
I was very happy to finally eat at this spot after walking the dog by here a lot and wanting to go in! The food does not disappoint and it is crafted by a talented team. The warm beet appetizer was very good and the pork chop was amazing! The service at the bar was just ok, Louie (not sure how he spells it) was good with the menu and drinks but then his friends came in and he started to totally ignore the other people at the bar. The latte was not well made it felt more like an americano with a little milk added to it. The overall experience was diminished just because the service went out the window near the end of the evening, not even 10pm. I will be back for the food, and hopefully better service.
Ashmont grill is good at what they do. They are nicely located across the street from the Ashmont t stop with plenty of street parking. They provide a fun and easy atmosphere for grabbing drinks after work or relaxing with their Saturday/Sunday brunch. I'm personally a fan of their creative and delicious cocktails.
Great brunch menu, great service and talented acoustic live music.
Waste of time and money but we were hungry was the only thing close by , never again I have paid less for better food.
Nice place, food is good and service is friendly
A great place for a quick lunch break!
Totes legit and the humble desert titles are not to be underestimated
Love the vibe in this place, a go to after church, always inviting, relaxing and you never feel like you need to rush through the meal. Lovely seasonal menu items make this a must visit in the area!!!
The food was DELICIOUS! I had the train wreck, and it looked like a mess, but a tasty, tasty mess
Love this place, excellent specials. Flank Steak pictured, so many flavors. Blueberry Cobbler was AMAZING.
I love this place. My girlfriend and I came for our anniversary and it was amazing. The food was excellent and the staff were on point. I recommend trying this place.
Brunch was damn good with a damn fine burger, juicy and salty and perfectly cooked and the best hash I can remember eating. The cocktails were alright, not bad but nothing grabbed me. Wait staff were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. It's cool looking place with high ceilings and every wall is covered with evocative local photographs.I encourage you to check it out.
$9 can of beer was ok. The eggs Benedict was terrible - eggs were over done, with nearly no hollandaise sauce on them. Wafer thin sliced of standard Canadian bacon. Home fried potatoes were fine. Crispy, but not seasoned - served with about half a tablespoon of ketchup for half a plate of home fries. Waiter was no where to be found between ordering the meal and giving us the check (someone else brought the meal out) so did not have the opportunity to get Nother drink, or ask for more sauce or ketchup.
Good food and good service
This restaurant has am excellent staff that is attentive. The kitchen is a smooth working machine. We were at a table of six and all or meals came out great
Phenomenal Service, Mac and cheese was more like Lacking Cheese but Roasted Half Chicken was to die for, try the pineapple infused Cosmo. Starts the night off right
Food was fantastic. We ate at the bar. Andrew, our bartender was the epitome of professionalism while being extremely personable. He so enhanced our experienced
Met up with some co-workers over the Christmas Break. Had some drinks and some food. The Mac Cheese is really good and the Carrot Cake is delicious. Had the Sangria and would definitely recommend it. Really nice atmosphere, clean and just a nice place to hang out and relax. Will definitely be back very soon.
Wonderful restaurant. I would like to come here again. I went there after visiting Franklin Zoo by bus #22. Toilet was clean.
This place is very nice, sat in the rear outside patio, beautiful. You wouldn't know u were in the middle of ashmont if it weren't for the fire trucks. Got the train wreck French fries, delicious!! Also had the steak very good but not $32 good.Drinks were great.Definitely will return
Love this place. I go for the $1 Oysters on Thursdays. Of you can get a seat at the bar, because their bartenders are the best and will keep you laughing. Always have a great time and the food is just awesome. Ordered the beef hotdog my last visit and it tasted delicious.
I’ve been here a few times and always was welcomed with a good service and delicious food. It’s a spacious a pretty quiet place, kids friendly. I’m in love with their winter salad. Their bar is open for breakfast too.
One of my favorite spots. Great food and atmosphere in an unassuming location
My friends and I love coming to this restaurant. It has delicious food with a bevy of great and diverse options, great service and equally matched good cocktails. I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area.
Amazing vibes & Amazing food! The owner is a genuine and lovely human.
Great for brunch, comfy atmosphere with good service and delicious food. Try the eggs benny and tell em to throw some Counting Crows on the sound system.
Nice quaint restaurant that still competes in a contemporary way. Food is fresh ,waitstaff excellent. The menu has changed since I was last there 3 yrs ago. I have to say the new menu is so much better. This is a great go to for friends and family. Parking is sometimes a little challenging but you'll be glad you got there! Servings are a good size .
Best Mac & Cheese in Boston, beautiful place and fresh veggies. One thing, the meat I tasted wasn't seasoned...
It was super fantastic! My bartender/server, Luis is incredible. He is very underrated. The environment was chill/serene. I had a drink that lasted me throughout dinner. I ordered the Jasmine curry with shrimp. The mussels. I took an order to go for my partner. The food was fantastic. I recommend this place. I had a good dinner unwinding. The atmosphere was friendly & inviting. You'll truly enjoy yourself. Whether you go solo, with friends or a group. I had a great time & the food was superb. 5 stars hands down.
Service food and drinks a perfect 10
Took the bus to Ashmont Station in Boston to find a little nook to have lunch, and walking around Ashmont I did find a place for lunch. The Ashmont Grill did not disappoint me for brunch I had the sausage breakfast sandwich and it was great but the coffee a little bitter but tasted okay. Well worth the trip to Boston...
This place is doing dining during the pandemic right. Good spacing and cleaning, made my in-laws very comfortable and the food is excellent. Love the cod sandwich and salmon piccata!
This is a great local restaurant. You can see why they have been so successful! The menu changes often and on Thursdays they have buck a chuck (oysters, cherrystones and shrimp $1 each) don’t leave without trying their carrot cake, it is the best around.
Lots of great things on the Sunday brunch menu. Bloody Mary's, warm Apple donuts, and Eggs Benedict. Doesn't get much better.
